Checking Off The Packing List

Time really does fly.  It doesn’t feel like it’s been two months since I arrived in Alabama.    It’s been a blessing of great joy to me to have been able to share in so many churches in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.  In Georgia I had the added pleasure of sharing in two Christian schools.  Wonderful!  Thank you all for having me.  Now it’s time to pack the bags and take to the skies again.

I have a check-list that helps me with my journey:   passport – check, ticket – check, book to read on airplane – check, and so on.  I also have a check-list for my daily spiritual journey.

cleansed my heart – check

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from every wrong.”  I John 1:9

aim to live in peace with those around me – check

“Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as is possible.:  Romans 12:18

say “yes” to Father in all things – check

“…obey God with deep reverence and respect, for He is working in you, giving you the desire to obey Him and power to do what pleases Him”  Philippians 2:12-13

don’t worry about anything – check

“Don’t worry about anything: instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.  If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7

Everyday with God is a journey.  Let’s stay packed and ready to follow where and how He leads.  There’s no adventure like it.
